Seniors@DigiWorld - Third Partner Meeting in Timisoara

Seniors@DigiWorld - Drittes Partnertreffen in Timisoara (deutsche Version des Artikels)

Seniors@DigiWorld Partnertreffen in Timisoara, Nov. 2017

From the 13th to the 14th of November 2017 the project consortium came to Timisoara (Romania) in order to discuss current project steps. In addition to regular virtual meetings, the Seniors@DigiWorld project partners meet face-to-face nearly every six months. That permits them to focus on details and content issues which need to be decided while conducting the international project.

In the middle of the project’s runtime partners had the opportunity to summarise the first year as well as to plan important activities in order to provide the Seniors@DigiWorld-course in four partner countries in the beginning of 2018. After analyzing training needs of the project’s target group the learning concept for a blended learning course was developed. Finally, a blended learning course which addresses multipliers working with senior citizens in libraries, welfare centers or senior living houses will be developed. It contains three face-to-face meetings and eight weeks of online-learning on edueca.com and practicing. The course will enable multipliers to motivate their target group to discover the opportunities of the tablet use.

The partner meeting also allowed to discuss strategies for implementing the Seniors@DigiWorld-course in different institutions and organisations. In the beginning of 2018 the blended learning course will be conducted and tested with at least 10 multipliers per country. Because of this, the promotion of digital services for elderly people raises.

Seniors@DigiWorld
