Preisverleihung des All Digital Award 2018

Our strategic partnership "Connect Seniors to the Digital World" won the All Digital Award 2018 as "Best cooperation project".

18th of October during the All Digital Summit in Brussels the ceremony for the All Digital Awards 2018 were held. The project “Connect Seniors to the Digital World” was nominated in two categories. Firstly, its Online-course Seniors@DigiWorld, which was developed and piloted during the two years project runtime, was nominated in the category "Best digital resource". Secondly the consortium was also nominated in the category "Best cooperation project" in which it won the price. The price honors the impact and transferability of the developed outcomes for enhancing digital skills in Europe.

The four partner organisations - SDC (Germany), VIPT (Lithuania), EOS (Rumania), CIDET (Spain) - were grateful about the recognition by the price and the opportunity to develop a training for multipliers in order to support senior citizens in using mobile digital devices to benefit from the world of internet.

From 2016 to 2018, the European Commission funds the project as strategic partnership for innovation in adult education in Erasmus+ which is coordinated by Digital Opportunity Foundation.
