#SaferInternetAward4EU (deutsche Version des Artikels)
Until May 15th you can apply online for the #SaferInternetAward4EU. Awarded will be the best and most creative concepts and materials in the field of online security, on topics such as fake news, (cyber) bullying, networked toys and privacy, sexting, grooming, harmful and disruptive content as well as cyber hygiene.
The #SaferInternetAward4EU is part of the Europe-wide #SaferInternet4Eu campaign launched on Safer Internet Day 2018 by the EU Commissioner for Digital Economy and Society Maryia Gabriel. The campaign aims to promote online security, media literacy and cyber hygiene and to raise awareness of the digital opportunities and challenges of the digital world among children, parents and teachers.
You can apply in the three categories:
Best practice competition for organisations
Best practice competition for teachers
Best practice competition for youth
Competition rules and conditions
Any person from the EU member states as well as Iceland and Norway can participate. Submissions may include concepts, materials, solutions or campaigns launched or carried out over the last two years in one of the official EU languages. The application form will be completed in English.
The winners will be invited to the award ceremony at the Safer Internet Forum in Brussels in November.
Application period: 1 March til 15 May 2018
Preselection of finalists: 1 June til 30 June 2018
Submission of video material from the finalists: 1 July til 31 August 2018
Online voting: 28 February til 31 October 2018
Award ceremony: Safer Internet Forum, 20 November 2018
