The KulturPass Ambassador program gives young people the opportunity to regularly get in touch with cultural institutions and share their experiences on social media. Last weekend, from September 13 to 15, 202426 KulturPass ambassadors from all over Germany came to Berlin to spend an exciting weekend together.
Everyone met for the first time on Friday evening for a brief get-together. The workshops then started on Saturday morning. The participants had the opportunity to take part in one of three workshops: a writing workshop “Gute Storyline, Deine Storyline” with author Linda Schipp, a workshop on music producing with singer Brenda Blitz or a theater workshop “Schauspielen und Stimmtraining” (acting and voice training) with voice coach Julia Dieckhoff. All workshops offered the opportunity to learn new things and express themselves artistically.
During the joint lunch breaks, the ambassadors were able to share their experiences and give feedback. There was also a lot of filming for the KulturPass' social media channels. Many ambassadors also created their own content for their personal channels to share their experiences in Berlin.
After the official program, many went on to Berlin Art Week in small groups. The ambassadors explored small galleries and visited the festival center in the Gropius Bau.
The weekend was a wonderful opportunity for everyone to make new friends and express themselves creatively. The event once again underlined the importance of the KulturPass: culture connects people, creates exchange and enables young people to explore their surroundings in new creative ways.
