Online4EDU
Aim of the project
The project Online4EDU wants to support educational experts and teachers in the use of digital media in everyday school life. For this purpose a blended-learning course was developed in order to incorporate online collaboration into classroom activities. The course will be tested from January 2016 onwards in the partner countries Estonia, Latvia, Lithuania and Germany. At the end of the course all participants will complete the module “Online collaboration' of the European Computer Driving Licence (ECDL). Target group of the project are educational experts and teachers, for example those who work in elementary schools, secondary schools or vocational schools. The course has been designed for those who already know online applications as well as those who are less experienced. In the long run, the content of the courses are going to be part of the formal training for teachers.
The Digital Opportunities Foundation is responsible for the preparation of the course curriculum which forms the basis of the blended-learning training session. The foundation also creates the project website and coordinates the distribution of the project content. Furthermore, the foundation supervises the test phase of the curriculum in Germany.
