The Anti-Rumour Serious Game is a cooperative game to promote media literacy. It is based on a role-playing and social deduction approach. In a youth-oriented scenario, it challenges players to use their skills and knowledge to produce or verify fake news and false reports. In the interactive gameplay, players can improve their media literacy, explore media, understand prejudices and check sources of information.

Our game trailer on YouTube explains the mechanics of the game

The Anti-Rumour project is funded by the Erasmus+ program and is implemented by the Digital Opportunities Foundation together with project partners from Cyprus, Greece and Spain. It raises awareness of fake news and conspiracy narratives, with a focus on disinformation related to environmental issues and social participation. The project is particularly aimed at young people.
