Aim of the project

The LiterAge4All project has two main objectives: 1) to increase digital health literacy among adults over 50 living in Europe, and 2)
to foster e-inclusion of adults over 50 with low digital skills, promoting access to digital health literacy content.

The five project partners want to achieve the following results:

    • The elaboration of a curriculum and guidelines to support the elaboration of educational materials and course, based on a user-centred approach
    • The creation of health digital libraries (one international and four national digital health repositories)
    • The development of an e-learning digital health literacy and healthy ageing course, available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Polish and German
    • The creation of a basic digital skills training course to be integrated in the TV, available in English, Portuguese, Spanish, Polish and German
    • The development of a TV app to deliver both basic digital skills and digital healthy literacy courses
    • The elaboration of a toolkit to provide training to trainers that want to support older adults in acquiring basic digital skills and improving health digital (“train the trainers” approach)
    • The involvement of local communities in adult digital and health digital skills education by holding community multiplier events to create local support networks

Stiftung Digitale Chancen is one of the consortium partners in the LiterAge4All project and is in charge of the creation of health digital libraries in work package 2 "Co-creation and design thinking of an educational program to improve digital health literacy and promote healthy ageing". Furthermore, the foundation supports the development and dissemination of all project results and activities.
