Evaluation of beroobi

Project

The job portal www.beroobi.de was ordered to be developed by Schulen ans Netz e.V. by the Federal Ministry of Education and Research. In 2009 75% of the apprentices of that year were pursuing an apprenticeship in 44 of a total of 359 occupations that require training. The initial question was if youths in the age group 14 - 16, and maybe older, would be motivated via such a platform to get to know different jobs and chose one as their career. A quantitative evaluation via questionnaires was carried out as well as a qualitative user observation.
